EFF Wins New Legal Protections for Video Artists, Cell Phone Jailbreakers, and Unlockers | Electronic Frontier Foundation
This is great news, kind of. I jailbreak because I inherited a US iPhone that was locked to AT&T, but I live in the UK. So, I’m no longer breaking the law. Of course, this doesn’t mean that Apple has to make it any easier to jailbreak or prevent them from making it harder, but I’m on iOS 3.1.2 and I don’t think I’ll be upgrading my hardware of software anytime soon.
